Cross stitch kits – Greeting cards

Cross stitch kits – Greeting cards

Hi everyone! I finally got the designs for the greeting cards done. They are now available on etsy shop as a cross stitch kit. Cross stitch kits are great time saviours. They come with all the supplies you need to get started. There is no running around after threads, fabric, needle and other materials. How great is that!

I´ve showed you the first greeting card design a month ago. Now there are some variations on it and two new designs. These are my first cross stitch designs using PC Stitch. It took me more than a week to design something. First, the design had to fit the cross stitch cards that I bought. Second I had to create original drawings of my own authorship. This last one was by far the most difficult thing to do, as I was pretty much out of ideas. I ended up making it simple because it should be easy to stitch. This is a small project that you can get it done in short time.

Here is what you will find inside the kit:

  • DMC Mouline Special threads
  • One DMC needle no. 26
  • White Zweigart aida 16 Count fabric
  • One postcard
  • Printed colour chart with symbols
  • Tips and instructions

I love to give cross stitch as a present. However it took me always ages to get anything done because the patterns and projects were to big. At the end I ended up frustrated because I never got to finish it in time. That is why I decided to create this small cross stitch project that can be used as a gift or part of a gift.

It is a pity not to show off your skills, even if you are just starting to get familiar with cross stitch. Go on and give it a try 🙂

I would much appreciate if you give me some feedback on these cross stitch kit. Especially the designs. I would try to design one every week and put it on the etsy shop for you.

Until the next project!
